Job Description:

The organisation is looking for permanent employee to join our drawing office. The successful candidate will be part of the team tasked with the design and production drawings for all interior related aspects on our yachts. The work ranges from cabin drawings, tables, specific details, floors and ceilings, etc.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Drawing Office Supervisor, the successful incumbent will:

• Produce 3D drawings of the cabin or details using Rhino and/or SolidWorks
• Produce 2D production drawing
• Liaise with sub-contractors and designer to insure design integration
• Use 3D software to check interaction with systems and structure

CORE COMPETENCIES, ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS and PREFERENCES
Educational:
Grade 12 / equivalent
Degree / Diploma / equivalent in interior design.
Computer  Literacy – MS. Office, 

Experience/Technical:
5+ years’ experience in design of carpentry and interior
Experience in Rhino 3D, SolidWorks (equivalent) and Autodesk ACAD is required.
Requires a keen interest in interior design.

Personal:
 Good interpersonal and communications skills.
Attention to detail.
Creativity.
Ability to work under pressure and to deadline.
Ability to work overtime if required.

Language:
Fluent in English
